Since I have my Office subscription, my Office got upgraded into new release Office All would be good except one thing. I am using Google Apps for my personal use and have Google Sync tool setup to sync my email, contacts, calendar between Google Apps and my previous version of MS Outlook If you are trying to install Google Sync and configure to work with MS Outlook the tool will fail and simply it does not work.

I was glad to find a great tool today as I was researching how this can be fixed or when Google will release updated version of its Google Sync tool to support the new MS Outlook client. Unfortunately per Google forums — there is no exact date or plan to release this tool very soon. I have found a tool — SyncFix that is not free but affordable. Installation is very simple and it takes few steps and you are in business and all works as expected.

While today marks the beginning of this rollout, we need your help to test drive and provide feedback on the experience. We will be closely managing the rollout to Insiders, expanding availability over the next several weeks, before becoming broadly available to Office customers later this year.

Note: These improvements will become available to those who have Office plans that include Office applications. Outlook for Mac has long supported connecting to and managing your Gmail. With these updates, Outlook will now also sync your Google Calendars and Contacts. The experience will be very similar to what you are familiar with in Outlook today, with support for all the core actions—such as add, delete, edit time and location.

All changes will update back and forth with Gmail or Outlook for iOS and Android, so everything is in sync across all your devices. From this point, sync is fully automatic.

Choose the apu. Your old one is usually your Name or Username. You have the option of referencing your old Outlook profile if you need to check something. Uncheck the Open this window when Microsoft Outlook starts then Close the window. The sync process may take several minutes depending on the size of the email account.
